Biggest first. Always.
Opens sorted by real file size, largest first. A size bar on every row makes the heaviest videos obvious, and videos with an unknown size always sit at the bottom — never counted as zero bytes.
iCloud Video Manager · For Mac
Storage full again? It’s almost always videos. Photos can’t sort by file size — this app can. Scan your whole library in seconds and see the biggest videos first.
Requires macOS 13 Ventura or later · Supports Apple silicon and Intel Macs
Planned pricing below. The current release is free to download and use; paid checkout is not available yet.
A forgotten 40 GB screen recording, several copies of the same clip, 4K footage from years ago — all quietly filling the iCloud storage you pay for every month.
Built to do one thing well: find the videos taking up the most space, and clear them out safely.
Opens sorted by real file size, largest first. A size bar on every row makes the heaviest videos obvious, and videos with an unknown size always sit at the bottom — never counted as zero bytes.
Videos with an identical byte size are flagged as duplicates, along with the space the extra copies take. Select Extra Copies keeps the favorite — or the oldest — in every group.
Reads metadata straight from your library — no originals downloaded. Results stream in as it scans, and you can stop anytime.
Drill from years into months. Every period carries a proportion bar, so the heaviest year or month stands out at a glance.
Double-click to play right in the app, with scrubbing and mute. Check first, without switching to Photos.
Every deletion is confirmed and goes through Photos to Recently Deleted, recoverable for 30 days. The app never deletes a file directly.
Search by filename and filter by minimum size — 100 MB, 500 MB, 1 GB or 2 GB. Screen recordings are labeled automatically.
Export originals, add to Favorites, show in Photos, copy filenames — right from the context menu or the menu bar.
Built natively in SwiftUI with light, dark and system appearance, fully localized in English and Simplified Chinese. Every action has a shortcut.
Grant access to Photos and scan your whole library in one click. Videos only — your photos are untouched.
Find targets by size, date or duplicates, preview to confirm, and select as many as you like.
Move them to Recently Deleted. Empty it to reclaim space right away, or let Photos do it after 30 days.
Every scan happens locally. No accounts. No analytics. No uploads.
Reads your Photos library through the system’s PhotoKit. Nothing leaves your device.
SwiftUI, Photos and AVFoundation. Zero third-party dependencies.
App Sandbox and Hardened Runtime, asking only for the Photos access it needs.
Every deletion is handled by Photos, and only after you confirm it.
Videos stored only in iCloud, with no local size information on this Mac, don’t report a size. The app labels them clearly, keeps them last when sorting by size, and never lets them slip into a minimum-size filter.
Yes. Deletion goes through Photos, so videos land in Recently Deleted for 30 days, where you can restore them in Photos or on iCloud.com.
Videos with exactly the same byte size are grouped together. Select Extra Copies keeps the favorite in each group, or the oldest copy if none is a favorite.
No. There’s no account and no analytics — scanning and previews run entirely on your Mac.
macOS 13 Ventura or later. The current build supports Apple silicon (arm64) and Intel (x86_64) Macs, in English and Simplified Chinese.
Open the app and click Scan. Videos are listed by real file size, largest first, with a size bar on every row. Narrow them down by date, minimum size or duplicates, preview to confirm, then move the ones you don’t need to Recently Deleted.
If iCloud Photos is turned on, yes — Photos syncs deletions to every device signed in with the same Apple Account. That’s why the app always asks first and only moves videos to Recently Deleted, where you can restore them for 30 days. Download the original first if you want to keep a copy.
